I am interested in building a 3,000 square foot ranch home; approximately how long would this process take to design and build?

Construction time should be approximately 4 months after the final designs are approved. Site plan approval time will vary depending on the location, typically it will take two to three months. Design time is entirely dependent on the degree to which your desires are conceptualized; working with our designer from your general ideas can take as little as one to two months, and less if you have rough plans already.

Do you do home additions or improvements?

Yes we do home additions, kitchen remodels, garages, and pole barns.

Do you design energy efficient homes or green homes?

Absolutely! We know of no one who isn't interested in utilizing the latest sustainable design ideas in their home building projects, and, for example, we have been employing ground source heat pump systems in our projects since 1997.

What percentage deposit will I have to put down on my custom home project?

Only a modest deposit will be required for design services, if needed, but construction costs will be periodically invoiced as work is completed.

Are all builders the same? If I have a plan, does it matter who builds it?

More important than the plan, is the builder you entrust to construct what you are hoping for. The builder becomes your partner to fulfill your project requirements, and brings to that partnership construction expertise that will directly effect your long term satisfaction. Since Chrisanntha's background is commercial construction, we are accustomed to higher design and construction standards than most residential builders. For that reason, we spend a little more for more durable products, knowing that most people's appreciation of their project is a long term investment. Bring us your plan; we'll point out where we can make a difference in your porject.
